Homey Bridge connects your home’s smart devices into one large system. Homey Bridge supports six different wireless technologies and even over 50,000 different accessories from more than 1,000 manufacturers. Connect your wireless devices to Homey Bridge and easily manage, control, and automate them with the Homey app.
You can connect up to five accessories to the Homey Bridge controller free of charge. If you have more devices and sensors, a paid Homey Premium subscription service is required. Homey Bridge supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-Wave, 433 MHz, and Infrared technologies. Connect devices operating on different technologies together and get started. Homey automatically recognizes most of your home devices. Just search for your brand, press one or two buttons, and you’re ready to begin.
The Homey Bridge controller can also be used together with the Homey Pro controller. In this case, Homey Bridge extends the wireless coverage, allowing accessories to operate over a wider area. When used with Homey Pro, Homey Bridge works without a paid Premium subscription.
Note, Homey Bridge requires an internet connection to operate. Commands and automations are not executed locally but through a cloud service. Up to five (5) devices can be connected to the Homey Bridge controller free of charge. If you want to connect more than five devices, a paid Homey Premium subscription is required. The controller comes with a 3-month free trial of the Premium service. After the trial period, the service is paid. A maximum of 240 Z-Wave devices and 50 Zigbee devices can be connected to one Homey Bridge controller.
