Using a quality knife deserves a quality cutting board! Our fiberboard cutting board is designed to keep your knife’s blade sharp while offering maintenance-free convenience and moisture resistance. Made from biopolymer fibers, this cutting board is dishwasher safe and doesn’t require the sanding or oiling that traditional solid wood boards do.
This board is notably thinner than traditional wooden boards and may feel a bit firm at first, but don’t worry—it softens quickly with use and is much kinder to your knife’s edge compared to plastic cutting boards. Plus, the heat resistance of compressed wood fibers is significantly higher than that of conventional wooden boards, making it safe to use as a trivet as well. Our biopolymer boards are NSF certified, meaning they meet strict hygiene standards. The dimensions are 33 x 23 cm with a thickness of 6.5 mm.
Scratches that occur on the board’s surface can be easily removed with fine sandpaper, but often this is unnecessary as the scratches are merely cosmetic.
