The Aqara Dual Relay Module T2 is a dual relay module using Zigbee technology, allowing you to control various devices such as motors, garage doors, lights, switches, and outlets. The module can be connected in two ways: dry contact or wet contact. This module can enhance the intelligence and potential of traditional devices. When connected to the Apple Home platform, the device can be used seamlessly through the Apple Home app. Additionally, it is widely compatible with several third-party platforms. With a hub, features such as app-based remote control, scheduling, and power statistics can be implemented.

Thanks to the versatility of the T2 relay, it can be used in many different ways. It can be installed in ceiling lights, regular wall switches, or outlets for remote control of devices. It is also suitable for automating coffee makers, air fresheners, electric heaters, roller blinds, and garage roll-up doors. Users can easily and safely connect the dual relay module to bidirectional motors. Now the T2 can be used to control tubular motors, as a roller shade, and even as the core of a system. The Dual Relay Module T2 includes a power on/off state memory function that remembers the last state after a power outage. It also offers power measurement and statistics features.

Safety is paramount when handling electrical devices yourself. We prioritize user safety due to the complexity of installation and use. We allow adjustment of maximum and minimum voltage, current, and power values. In abnormal wake-up states, power supply is automatically cut off to ensure safety.**

Apple Home and Matter over Bridge support*

The T2 is compatible with Apple Home, Matter, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. It transforms traditional devices into smart ones and integrates seamlessly with multiple third-party systems. This facilitates automatic installation and connection to other compatible products, providing a versatile and user-friendly experience.

Wireless switch mode

Conversion to wireless switch mode is also supported. Thanks to this feature, an existing wall switch can be converted into a situational controller: arm or disarm a security system, control curtains or lights using just your old wired switch.***

Easy to use and install

Thanks to its DIN rail mounting structure, the relay is easy to attach to electrical cabinets and other tight spaces. Its compact size makes it fit even better into other wall boxes, including 86 mm and US standard boxes.****

***Note: Sensors or switches connected to the S1/S2/COM terminals must support the voltage supplied to the relay.

****Note: The T2 supports a maximum current of 10 A. A wall box with a depth of approximately 60 mm is recommended. If the existing wall box is not deep enough, you can try controlling the relay with the wireless H1 remote or a surface-mounted or ultra-thin wall switch.

Use case examples

1. Garage door controller

Thanks to the dry contact mode, the Relay T2 can be used to make an existing garage door smart. Simply connect the garage door opener, and you can use the garage door in automations and expose it to third-party systems. The relay also acts as a repeater for Aqara door and window sensors, so you don’t have to worry about weak signals.

2. Save energy by controlling the water heater with the T2

If your heater can be controlled with dry contacts, you can use the T2 relay to make it smart. As a result, you can control it remotely and save energy by integrating it with cooler thermostats using Aqara Home or third-party automation.

3. Install it behind wall switches and outlets

Simply install the T2 behind an existing wall switch or outlet to make it smart. As a result, current outlets and switches can participate in automations and gain power consumption statistics functionality.
