The APC NetShelter CX series includes soundproofed and actively cooled IT cabinets designed for offices and other open spaces. Designed on the “Server Room In A Box” principle, the cabinets feature acoustic insulation and ventilation, as well as a pre-installed power distribution unit at the back of the cabinet (0U). Additionally, the cabinets are lockable. The design also takes aesthetics into account, allowing them to blend well into office environments. Besides the oak finish, the cabinets are available in both black and white finishes. The APC NetShelter CX series comes in four different sizes: 38U, 24U, 18U, and Mini size, which is suitable for, for example, two tower servers.
The NetShelter CX series is easy to deploy and maintain. Equipment can be installed in the cabinet either at its final location or in advance, after which it can be moved to its final place on its own wheels. The cabinet is also easy to relocate if necessary. NetShelter CX cabinets are well suited for branch offices of banks and other companies, retail stores, schools, hospitals, and similar spaces that do not have their own server room but still need to house IT equipment on-site. Thanks to the APC NetShelter CX series, costly server rooms do not need to be built separately.
In the 18U model, cables are routed into the cabinet from the bottom.
