The Akkogear 5108B Black/Gold V3 Blue Pro Switch RGB is a full-size mechanical gaming keyboard offering versatile connectivity options and customizable features. The keyboard has 108 keys, hot-swappable switches, and RGB backlighting that can be customized with the Akko Cloud software. Three different connection methods – USB-C, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.4 GHz wireless – allow use with multiple devices. The keyboard’s tilt can be adjusted to three different levels, enhancing comfort during longer sessions.
Hot-swappable switches allow you to change switches without soldering, making it easier to customize the keyboard. With Akko Cloud software, you can program macros and remap keys, except for function keys. This provides flexibility for both gaming and work.
You can connect the keyboard to up to three devices simultaneously and easily switch between them using the Fn+E/R/T key combinations. Wireless connections operate via Bluetooth 5.0 or a 2.4 GHz receiver, and there is also a USB-C port for wired use.
The RGB lighting includes over 20 different lighting modes, including music-synced effects in USB mode. The keys are made of durable double-shot PBT plastic, which maintains its appearance and feel for a long time. The keyboard frame is made of ABS plastic and weighs 1750 g.
The keyboard’s tilt angle can be adjusted to three different heights (5°, 7.5°, and 11°) using a rubber-coated stand. This helps find a comfortable position for both gaming and typing. Additionally, the keyboard supports N-key rollover (NKRO), allowing multiple keys to be pressed simultaneously without conflicts.
The 3000 mAh battery provides approximately 38 hours of wireless use, which is sufficient for longer gaming sessions or workdays without the need for charging.
