The Airthings Wave Mini air quality monitor detects the total concentration of volatile organic compounds (TVOC), temperature, and humidity in indoor air. The Mini visually indicates air quality with colors, and the user-friendly app provides highly accurate additional information about the measurement results. The Wave Mini also supports the Airthings Hub accessory.
The Mini also features mold risk detection. The device cannot identify mold itself, but when installed correctly, it can provide an estimate of the risk of mold growth. The estimate is based on an algorithm that utilizes temperature and humidity. More information about this feature is available in English here.
As of April 2021, the app also includes pollen data as a new feature. The data comes from an external source, meaning the device itself does not measure pollen levels. With pollen information, you will know when to close windows, use an air purifier, or operate an air conditioning unit.
