The legendary Aerolatte French press combines a stainless steel frame with a carafe made from tempered glass, both of which are dishwasher safe. With a capacity of 600ml/5 cups, the carafe features a handy measurement scale on the side, making it easy to see how much water to add per cup.
Before brewing your coffee, swirl a small amount of hot water in the press and then pour it out. This helps prevent thermal shock, ensuring the glass stays intact.
Add coarsely ground coffee (slightly coarser than filter grind) to the bottom of the French press, then pour in hot water just below boiling point (around 92-96 degrees Celsius). Stir the coffee-water mixture and let it steep for about 4 minutes. After that, press down the grounds with the filter.
With the French press, you can easily brew delicious coffee. Thanks to this method, the flavors of the coffee don’t get trapped in a filter, allowing you to enjoy more of the delightful notes from your brew.
