With the Abus Bordo One lock, you can say goodbye to carrying keys, as your phone serves as your key! This fully electronic lock features an alarm to keep your bike safe. It’s easy to charge via the USB-C connector, and unlocking is a breeze thanks to ABUS SmartX™ Bluetooth technology, which is both user-friendly and secure. The lock allows for multiple users, making it perfect for family or shared use in a business. Thanks to the 3D motion detection, the lock can sense movement in all directions and will activate the alarm if necessary. If the lock is moved and not unlocked within a few seconds, it will sound a 100 dB alarm for 15 seconds. After that, the lock reverts to active mode, meaning any additional movement will trigger another alarm.
The foldable lock combines the sturdiness of a U-lock with the convenience of a cable lock. It features 5 mm steel rods with a soft plastic coating. The included transport case allows you to securely attach the lock to your bike. The case has a quick-release mechanism for the lock and won’t rattle or shake while riding, unlike many U-locks. It can be attached to the screws of your water bottle holder or strapped to the frame tubing.
Abus locks are rated on a scale of 1-15 for security, with a higher number indicating greater resistance to tampering.
