The Pro-Ject T2 builds on the popular T1 model, bringing improvements in sound quality and construction without driving the price up: a new standard for audiophile-level turntables in this price range is here.
The T2 is based on a larger CNC-machined chassis made from high-quality materials, completely free of plastic parts. The technically precise design ensures a sturdy structure that effectively eliminates unwanted vibrations and resonances. The glass platter is thicker and heavier to achieve more stable speed and higher quality playback. The 9″ aluminum tonearm features updated low-friction precision bearings designed with increased length and diameter in mind. Topping it off is the factory-installed and adjusted Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge with an elliptical stylus: this high-quality cartridge, combined with an excellent turntable preamplifier, provides enjoyable playback from vinyl records.
As expected, it includes an electronically controlled, high-precision AC motor, gold-plated RCA connectors, and a specially designed, effectively shielded Pro-Ject Connect It E turntable cable.
