The Joie i-Snug 2 continues the legacy of its predecessor as an excellent infant car seat for newborns. The bucket-style seat features a separate infant insert that can be removed once the baby has outgrown it. The cozy seat includes special padding for the headrest, sides, and seating area. On both sides of the headrest, there is a three-part cushioning system, as well as a conforming memory foam padding. The foldable canopy provides shade from direct sunlight and keeps light rain out of the seat when moving from the car to indoor spaces. The car seat is installed in the car facing rearward using the vehicle’s own 3-point seatbelt or alternatively with a separately purchased ISOFIX base. The base allows for the car seat to be placed in and taken out of the car in just a few seconds, ensuring a safe installation with visual color codes and a locking sound.
