Expansion set that allows the CATAN base game to be played with up to six players. The package does not include the original CATAN board game.
CATAN is a board game awarded with several Game of the Year prizes, placing players in the role of settlers colonizing the ever-changing island of Catan. On each turn, the active player rolls the dice. The dice roll determines which areas produce resources. If the player has a village or city next to that area, they receive cards. After that, players can trade cards freely among themselves. Finally, the active player can build new roads, villages at the ends of roads, and cities in place of villages using their cards. Development cards representing progress in living can also be acquired.
