The VarioFlex basket system offers extra space for your items, while the Vario upper basket allows for flexible loading. Plastic dishes often remain wet after washing in the dishwasher. That’s why Bosch dishwashers come with the ExtraDry program. It raises the temperature during the final rinse and extends the drying time. This way, even plastic items like baby bottles or picnic dishes come out sparkling clean and fully dry.
VarioFlex Basket System and VarioDrawer Upper Basket
The innovative VarioFlex basket system features numerous adjustment options to create extra space for your dishes at all levels. The adjustable, foldable, and movable parts are marked in red for easy identification.
Vario Upper Basket: Flexibility at Your Fingertips.
Sometimes, you can’t fit everything into your dishwasher because the baskets don’t accommodate various shaped items. The Vario cutlery basket is a pull-out third basket in the ActiveWater dishwasher, solving this issue. It’s the perfect spot for cutlery and small kitchen tools like ladles or whisks. Even espresso cups find a sturdy place here. Loading the dishwasher is flexible, giving you plenty of space. When the cutlery basket is replaced with the Vario upper basket, you can fit up to 14 place settings in 60 cm wide dishwashers and 10 place settings in 45 cm wide dishwashers.
Three-Level Height Adjustment – Even When Full
Thanks to the Rackmatic system, the height of the upper basket can be adjusted by up to 5 cm, even when it’s full. This means even more options and maximum adaptability.
Silence on Demand – Specially Quiet When Needed
Sometimes you need a particularly quiet environment at home to focus on other things. In such cases, you can activate the Silence on Demand feature via the HomeConnect app. This function quiets your dishwasher when necessary. The noise level drops to a minimum for up to 30 minutes, after which the dishwasher returns to its normal washing program.

The Silence program is our quietest washing option. When you activate this additional feature, the noise level of the wash program drops to the lowest possible. This is achieved with a special Eco 50 °C program, where the water spray pressure is reduced and the soaking time is extended.

Home Connect allows for wireless remote control via your smartphone or tablet. Thanks to our partner Amazon Alexa, you can control your appliance even with your voice. Check if the Home Connect feature (Skill) is available in the Alexa app in your country and language. Activate the “skill” and connect Amazon Alexa to your appliance.
Detergent Tablet Counter – Your Dishwasher Counts for You.
Dishwasher detergent tablets often run out just when you need clean dishes. The tablet counter in the Home Connect app tracks your detergent consumption and reminds you when it’s running low.

AquaStop – Dishwasher Leaks Are a Thing of the Past.

If the system’s sensor detects a leak, the appliance stops functioning immediately and pumps the water out through a double-walled hose.
