The Reolink Go Plus surveillance camera can be installed almost anywhere. It only requires a working 4G LTE network at the installation site. There is no need for a wireless network or broadband. The updated model now features a USB-C connector.
The Reolink Go Plus model has a resolution of up to 2560 x 1440, with a 95° horizontal field of view. The camera includes a passive infrared sensor with intelligent motion detection, meaning it can identify people and vehicles when motion is detected. Notifications sent by the camera gain new significance when motion detection is set to respond only to vehicles and people. Other notable features include 16X digital zoom, support for the newer and more efficient H.265 video compression, and the addition of a USB-C charging port. USB-C is available both on the camera body and directly on the battery. The camera can also be used while connected to a charging cable.
Setup is easy and fast. Charge the camera’s battery, insert your operator’s SIM card (nanoSIM), memory card, and finally the battery. The camera powers on automatically. Then download the Reolink app from the app store (Android/iOS) and follow the instructions. The Reolink Go Plus does not depend on fixed broadband, wireless Wi-Fi network, or mains power. The only limitations are the camera’s IP rating, your imagination, and mobile network coverage. It also works excellently as a replacement for a traditional trail camera! Connect to the camera anytime, anywhere!
The Reolink Go Plus records to a separately purchased microSD memory card (max. 128 GB).
The camera operates with a 7800 mAh battery. It is also compatible with the separately purchased Reolink Solar 2 solar panel!
Reolink Cloud – Cloud Service:
Reolink launched cloud recording for selected Reolink camera models at the end of April 2022. Users can choose from Basic Plan, Standard Plan, and Premier Plan storage options. The Basic Plan can be activated for one Reolink camera and is currently free. The Basic Plan stores 7 days of recording history in the cloud (max. 1 GB). The Standard and Premier plans are paid services offering longer recording history, support for multiple cameras, more storage space, and better alert notifications (depending on the camera).
Learn more about the service and terms here. Cloud recording is optional and works alongside memory card recording. Terms and prices of the cloud service may change in the future.
The average battery life of the Reolink Go Plus camera varies depending on usage. The battery can last over a month. Battery life is significantly affected by operating temperature, mobile network strength, camera usage, and the number of motion detections.
A subscription with a fixed monthly fee and no data cap is recommended. Data usage depends on the set resolution and bit rate.
Note, the Reolink Go Plus requires a SIM card and subscription to operate.
