Reolink TrackMix Wired LTE surveillance camera for outdoor and indoor use. The camera is equipped with two image sensors and features Dual Tracking target tracking. It has intelligent motion detection, two-way audio, a memory card slot, and LED lights. The camera supports continuous recording to a memory card on LTE 4G networks. When connected via an Ethernet cable, the camera can also be linked to an NVR recorder.
The weather-resistant Reolink TrackMix Wired LTE can be connected to a network either via LTE/4G mobile connection or using a traditional wired Ethernet connection. When using a mobile connection, the camera can be installed almost anywhere. It only requires a functioning LTE/4G network and power supply at the installation site. There is no need for a wireless network or broadband. The camera also features night vision with IR lights, which have an optimal range of about 30 meters. In addition to traditional night vision, the camera has two small LED lights that enable color images in darkness or low light.
A special feature of the Reolink TrackMix Wired LTE camera is its two image sensors (wide-angle and telephoto) and dual tracking capability with hybrid zoom. The wide-angle sensor has a 2K 2560 x 1440 resolution, 2.8 mm focal length, and F/1.6 aperture. The telephoto sensor has Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, 8.0 mm focal length, and F/1.6 aperture. When detecting motion, the TrackMix camera can automatically follow the target thanks to its motorized housing. Both sensors appear as separate video sources, allowing the user to choose which image to view. If desired, the images can be combined so that the tracked target is visible both zoomed in and in a wide view simultaneously.
Another noteworthy feature is continuous recording to a memory card when using an LTE/4G connection. Almost all cameras using mobile networks only support recording triggered by motion or intelligent AI detection. The camera also has intelligent motion detection and can recognize people, vehicles, and pets in the image. The camera’s memory card slot supports cards up to 256 GB (card sold separately). If the camera is used with an Ethernet cable, recordings can be saved both on the memory card and to an NVR recorder or the user’s FTP server.
The camera also supports interval videos (time-lapse). The camera can be set to take pictures at desired intervals, which are automatically compiled into a video. Use cases include monitoring construction progress, spring awakening of plants, traffic flow monitoring, sunrise — the possibilities are endless!
The camera is operated and managed with the easy-to-use Reolink app, available for both Android and iOS devices. The app language can be set to Finnish. If the camera is connected via Ethernet cable, in addition to the mobile app, the Reolink Client desktop application (macOS/Windows) and compatible web browsers can be used.
Compatible with Reolink NVR recorders (requires version V2). When used with an NVR, the camera must be connected via Ethernet cable. The 4G connection does not support NVR recording, desktop application, or web browser. If both a SIM card and Ethernet cable are installed, the camera will always default to the Ethernet connection.
TrackMix Wired LTE requires an LTE/4G connection when using a SIM card. When using an LTE/4G connection, the following protocols are not available: HTTPS, UPnP, RTSP, RTMP, Onvif, DDNS, FTP. Using the camera via a web browser does not work with LTE/4G connection.
Reolink Cloud service:
Reolink launched cloud recording at the end of April 2022 for selected Reolink camera models. Users can choose from Basic Plan, Standard Plan, and Premier Plan storage options. The Basic Plan can be activated for one Reolink camera and is currently free. The Basic Plan stores 7 days of recording history in the cloud (max. 1 GB). The Standard and Premier plans are paid services offering longer recording history, support for multiple cameras, more storage space, and better alert notifications (depending on the camera).
Learn more about the service and terms here. Cloud recording is optional and works alongside memory card recording. Terms and prices of the cloud service may change in the future.
