The MXR Standard cable is a guitar cable designed around a pure copper conductor. The cable’s capacitance is optimized, so the sound of passive pickups remains full and rich. Around the core, there is copper shielding protecting the signal from interference and hum. To reduce handling noise, there is both internal insulation and an external PVC jacket, and carefully selected materials also improve the cable’s flexibility.
