IronKey Vault Privacy 50 is a premium-class USB flash drive that offers enterprise-level data security.
The VP50 series features FIPS 197-certified AES 256-bit hardware encryption in XTS mode, protection against BadUSB with digitally signed firmware, and defense against Brute Force password attacks. Vault Privacy 50 series drives are also TAA compliant.
The administrator can enable a user and one-time recovery password or reset the user’s password to restore data access. Brute Force attack protection locks the user or one-time passwords after 10 consecutive incorrect password attempts and encrypts the drive if the Admin password is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row.
To protect against potential malware from trusted systems, both the administrator and user can set the flash drive to write-protect read-only mode; additionally, the built-in virtual keyboard protects passwords from keylogger and screenlogger malware.
