The GARDENA basic set for underground piping includes a swing sprinkler and 20 meters of main pipe. Thanks to the underground pipes, your garden hoses won’t be sprawled across the yard anymore, saving you from the hassle of coiling them up.
The connector box is installed in the ground between the water tap and the underground main pipe. The main pipe can be branched out using a T-connection. The water outlets serve as the system’s water intake points, where you can connect a garden hose or the included Pipeline swing sprinkler. Once the watering device is attached, water flow begins. It automatically stops thanks to the built-in shut-off valve as soon as the watering device is disconnected.
The swing sprinkler can rotate 360°, evenly and accurately watering areas ranging from 9 to 216 m². With the controller, you can select the range (3 to 18 meters) and the watering width (3 to 12 meters).
The visible parts of the connector box and water outlets are equipped with a dirt filter, and the sprinkler has a filter as well. These can be easily detached and cleaned under running water. Drainage valves should be installed at the lowest points of the system to protect it from freeze damage. All components of the underground piping set are made from high-quality materials, ensuring they withstand UV radiation.
The basic set with a swing sprinkler can be expanded indefinitely with additional parts from the system.
