The Schneider Electric Wiser door/window sensor increases the safety of your home affordably. The sensor consists of two separate parts that detect the opening of a door or window using a magnet. This information can be used in many ways for home automation. If the sensor attached to the front door detects the door opening, the device can be set to automatically turn on the hallway lights. When away, the device can, for example, activate the hallway camera to record the entrant. The Wiser app always shows the status of the door/window sensor remotely, so the user can check if any door or window has been left open while away. The door/window sensor can also be set to send a notification to the phone if the door is opened.

Wiser is an evolving smart home system that is easy to install and customize according to the needs and preferences of each home. Wiser allows home residents to use their smartphone as a home controller via the Wiser by SE app. Wiser is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri services. All devices connected to the home are visible and controllable in the Wiser by SE app. The open and certified Zigbee 3.0 guarantees expandability with third-party devices – certification ensures compatibility. This is a widely used standard involving over 450 manufacturers. Devices made by SE can also be used in other applications. The solution can be easily expanded later, for example with new SE devices.
