The Tamron 11–20mm F2.8 Di III-A RXD is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens with a high aperture for Sony E-mount (APS-C image circle). Thanks to the wide angle and high aperture, this lens is excellent for landscape and architectural photography, and due to its excellent autofocus, also great for vlogging.
The optical design includes two GM lenses (glass-molded aspherical), one ultra-low dispersion lens, and two low dispersion lenses. The entire optical assembly is crowned by a modern BBAR-G2 coating that minimizes reflections and ghosting. Autofocus operates with Tamron’s quiet Extra-silent stepping motor, which is compatible with Sony’s eye autofocus.
