The CS1914 enables Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160) at 30 Hz and features a SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub with data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. With the CS1912, you can control four computers with DisplayPort connections using a single mouse and keyboard. The switch makes work easy. You can switch between computers using the mouse scroll wheel, keyboard hotkeys, or front panel buttons.
The different parts of the switch operate independently. It can be set so that the keyboard, mouse, and display are assigned to a different computer than the USB devices. This eliminates the need for a separate USB hub, print server, modem, or splitter.
