The device scans up to 20 slides per minute, and thanks to the handy 2.4-inch color display, image previewing is smooth and immediate. The high-precision 14-megapixel image sensor ensures detailed image capture. If additional resolution is needed, image sharpness can be increased by interpolation up to 24 megapixels. Thanks to the technology used in the Rollei DF-S 310 SE scanner, the image only needs to be passed through the reader once, and the image rails automatically ensure precise positioning of the image.
The Rollei DF-S 310 SE has 128 megabytes of internal memory and can be expanded with SD/SDHC memory cards up to 32 gigabytes. This enables the scanner to be used without immediate proximity to a computer, as images can be saved directly to the memory card. Power supply is provided by a five-volt power source or via the USB connection. The scanner can be connected directly to a Windows or Mac computer via USB if needed. It can also be connected directly to a television using the 3.5-millimeter composite connection.
