With the DeLOCK PCI Express x4 – M.2 NVMe adapter, you can connect an M.2 NVMe (SSD 2280, 2260, 2242 format) device to a PCI Express x4 slot. The DeLOCK PCI Express x4 – M.2 NVMe controller card allows you to use an M.2 NVMe standard SSD even if your motherboard lacks an M.2 port. The adapter only works with PCIe-based M.2 NVMe SSD drives. M.2 SATA SSD drives do not work with this adapter.
