Using a high-quality knife deserves a proper cutting board that’s gentle on the blade. Our fiberboard cutting board offers not only excellent blade longevity but also requires no maintenance and is resistant to moisture. Made from bio-based fibers, this cutting board can be safely cleaned in the dishwasher and doesn’t need sanding or oiling like traditional solid wood boards.
This board is significantly thinner than traditional wooden boards, and while it might feel firm at first, it quickly softens with use, making it friendlier to your knife’s edge compared to plastic cutting boards. The heat resistance of compressed wood fibers is much higher than that of conventional wooden boards, allowing it to double as a trivet without worry. Plus, our bio-based fiber boards are NSF certified, meaning they meet strict hygiene standards. The dimensions of the board are 24 x 14 cm with a thickness of 6.5 mm.
Any scratches that may occur on the surface can be easily removed with fine sandpaper, but often this isn’t necessary as the scratches are merely cosmetic.
