The ASUS ROG STRIX LC III 360 is a liquid cooling system that provides efficient cooling for both AMD Ryzen™ and Intel® Core™ processors. It utilizes the new Asetek Gen7 v2 pump and ROG-designed 12 cm fans, which together ensure lower temperatures and quieter operation even under demanding conditions. The cooling system features a 360 mm wide radiator with three fans that deliver strong airflow and static pressure.
The new Asetek Gen7 v2 pump includes an improved cold plate capable of cooling up to 100 watts more than previous models. This allows the CPU temperature to drop by up to 0.5 °C compared to the previous generation. The pump and fan speeds automatically adjust, and during low load, the fans stop completely in 0 dB mode, reducing noise.
The water block is magnetically attached and rotates 360°, making installation easier and providing flexibility with different cases and motherboards. Additionally, the water block features an LCD screen that displays real-time system information or customized animations. Aura lighting supports multiple lighting modes and offers the ability to customize light effects with Aura Creator software.
The radiator frame is made of aluminum and the water block base of copper, ensuring good heat transfer. The cooling system is widely compatible with various Intel and AMD processor sockets, including LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1700, as well as AM4 and AM5.
The fans have vibration-dampening rubber pads on the corners that reduce resonance noise. The new blade design produces strong static pressure, improving airflow efficiency through the radiator.
