The TP-LINK Tapo C510W is an outdoor surveillance camera with an IP65 rating and 2K resolution. The camera features intelligent AI detection and a motorized body, allowing it to automatically track a subject and provide a full 360-degree view. The camera connects to the home’s wireless 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

The Tapo C510W camera has a 2K resolution of 2304 x 1296, offering more detail compared to traditional 1080p resolution. It also includes versatile night vision options. You can choose the traditional black-and-white IR night vision, but the camera also offers a Color Night Vision feature. The camera’s LED lights enable vivid color images in low light or darkness.

The camera’s intelligent AI detection can recognize people in the image. It also supports automatic tracking of detected subjects. When detection occurs, the camera sends a notification to the smartphone and captures a screenshot of the event. Screenshots and videos can be saved locally on a separately purchased microSD card or to the paid Tapo Care cloud service. The camera’s two-way audio enables direct conversation through the camera.
