The ASUS ProArt Display PA27UCGE is a 27-inch 4K HDR monitor designed for video and photo editors as well as color graders who demand professional-grade color accuracy. Its high 160 Hz refresh rate, 600-nit brightness, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, Delta E<1 color accuracy, and ASUS Light Sync technology ensure even backlighting and stunning image quality in any environment. The built-in motorized colorimeter, self-calibration, and LuxPixel technology guarantee reliable and uninterrupted use. PA27UCGE monitors support multiple HDR formats (HLG, HDR-10) and offer extensive connectivity options, including USB-C® with 96 W power delivery, making them ideal for creative workflows.
LuxPixel™ technology features an anti-glare and anti-reflective (AGLR) coating that provides a paper-like display effect. Unlike traditional matte panels that often soften images, LuxPixel™ technology minimizes reflections to ensure users see accurate colors and sharp details.
The PA27UCGE exceeds industry color reproduction requirements with 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, making it ideal for video editing and other post-production tasks. The 10-bit IPS panel can display over 1.07 billion colors, offering content creators a wide color spectrum to work with. The ProArt monitor includes ASUS Light Sync technology with two sensors designed to guarantee excellent color accuracy and precise color temperature immediately upon startup. The backlight sensor automatically detects ambient light brightness and compensates for deviations at startup, eliminating warm-up time and ensuring accurate color reproduction so you can start working right away. The ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness and color temperature according to changes in the surrounding lighting, keeping colors always true.
Each ProArt monitor is factory-calibrated with a new three-step process that guarantees industry-leading color accuracy. The display undergoes rigorous testing with ASUS’s advanced grayscale tracking technology, ensuring smoother color gradients, better uniformity, and high color accuracy with a Delta E < 1 color difference value. Every grayscale level is carefully measured and set to meet precise DICOM standards for medical image inspection.
ProArt monitors feature a built-in colorimeter with an innovative self-calibration function. This standalone solution is compatible with all operating systems and requires no additional calibration software.
ASUS ProArt hardware calibration software* works in both SDR and HDR modes. It saves all color parameter profiles directly to the ProArt monitor’s internal scaler instead of the PC. Users can also schedule regular calibration intervals using ProArt calibration.
ProArt Color Center is a web-based tool designed to help administrators manage the color accuracy of multiple ProArt monitors that support hardware calibration. Users can check when monitors were last calibrated, the next recommended calibration date, and schedule calibration times for multiple monitors—even if they use different color parameters and/or are located in different places.
The ProArt Display works seamlessly with third-party professional hardware calibration software such as Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS. It can also write color parameters back to our ProArt monitors, speeding up and simplifying calibration.
Unique ASUS Smart HDR technology enables the ProArt monitor to support multiple HDR formats, including HLG and HDR10. HLG allows users to view and create content for television and satellite TV platforms such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV, and DirecTV. HDR10 support ensures compatibility with existing streaming video services and an increasing number of HDR-compatible games.
Multiple PQ Curves
ASUS ProArt monitors support multiple HDR10 curves, including PQ Hard Clip, PQ Optimized, and PQ Basic, covering all content creation needs.
HDR Preview
HDR preview enables a direct connection between the camera and the monitor to view recorded HDR content* across its full tonal range. It also works with most video editing software, providing accurate simulations of the final output, making editing easier and more streamlined.
*Raw data/camera footage must support HDR mode and PQ curve.
The high refresh rate ensures smooth images and a pleasant viewing experience. With up to 160 Hz variable refresh rate (VRR), the ProArt Display PA27UCGE is also ideal for game developers who need to perform quality control on their creations.
The included USB-C® port enables ultra-fast data transfer, DisplayPort connectivity, and 96-watt power delivery for charging laptops and other devices—all through a single cable. It also functions as a USB hub: all devices connected to the monitor’s USB ports can access other connected peripherals. In addition to USB-C, the ProArt monitor offers numerous connectivity options such as HDMI®, DisplayPort™, USB Type-A, and an extra USB-C downstream port, ensuring compatibility with many devices. A pass-through headphone jack is also included.
Picture-by-Picture (PbP)
View content from up to two sources simultaneously. Each window’s color mode can be set to sRGB, Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, BT.2020, User Mode 1, User Mode 2, or User Mode 3.
Picture-in-Picture (PiP)
This mode places content from a second source in a smaller window that can be positioned in any corner of the screen.
The ProArt monitors’ ergonomic stand offers tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments to achieve the perfect viewing position. Rotating the display 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise into portrait mode is convenient when working on posters, brochures, and other large-format projects. The quick-release feature allows users to mount the monitor on a wall with a VESA mount, saving desk space. The wraparound hood reduces reflections from nearby light sources, allowing users to work confidently in the studio or on location.
The ProArt Display PA27UCGE has undergone rigorous testing to meet the requirements of the world’s leading sustainability certifications. Tests are based on comprehensive, up-to-date criteria, and results are independently verified. ProArt monitors are shipped in 100% recyclable packaging made from FSC Mix cardboard. The packaging is designed to minimize weight and volume. The monitor features a power-saving Eco mode, and its power consumption is zero watts when turned off. The ProArt Display PA27UCGE is made of 85% recycled plastic (PCR). It also has a mercury-free panel.
