The Marmitek BoomBoom 76 is a portable Bluetooth receiver that makes listening to music and hands-free calls easy anywhere. The small and lightweight device connects wirelessly to a smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth device and transfers sound with high quality to a stereo system, car radio, or wired headphones. Thanks to NFC compatibility, the device connects quickly, and the built-in microphone allows safe hands-free calls, for example, while driving.
The BoomBoom 76 works with all Bluetooth audio sources, such as iPhone, Android phone, and iPad. It supports multiple Bluetooth profiles (A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP) as well as codecs (SBC, aptX, AAC), ensuring CD-quality music playback using the aptX connection. The device connects wirelessly up to 15 meters away and remembers up to eight paired devices.
The NFC function enables quick connection by touching a smartphone or tablet to the receiver, but the device can also be used without NFC. The analog 3.5 mm stereo jack guarantees compatibility with most audio devices and car radios that have aux-in, line-in, or similar input.
The device is very compact and lightweight, measuring 12.5 x 34.3 x 34.3 mm and weighing only 14 grams, making it easy to carry along. The built-in 3.7 V 120 mAh Li-ion battery allows up to eight hours of use on a single charge, with a standby time of up to 120 hours. Charging time is about two hours, and the device automatically turns off after five minutes if no connection is detected.
