Automatic flash control

When the GF-2 is attached to the RICOH GR IV camera and the camera is set to ISO Auto Flash mode, it enables automatic flash control that adjusts both the effective guide number and ISO sensitivity according to the subject distance. This smart combination helps keep exposures consistent in changing situations without having to browse menus or guess flash power.

Own power source and charging

The GF-2 uses its own rechargeable lithium-ion battery and charges via a USB Type-C connection. Since the flash has its own power source, its charging efficiency remains stable even if the camera battery is low—ideal for long shooting sessions and fast documentary situations.
